Partners Must Know Their Roles

When going into a business partnership, it is critical that each of the partners know his or her role to the finest detail.  It is also important that each of the partners know the roles of each of the other partners.  After the partners’ roles have been clearly defined, the partners should engage in ongoing discussions about whether the work and responsibilities are fairly distributed among them.  What we are trying to avoid is any partner feeling that she is pulling more than her fair share of work load.
